Newcastle Co. Down nestled at the foot of the Mourne Mts. edged by the long safe sandy beach of Dundrum Bay and a easy access to two world famous golf courses, The Royal County Down and the Mourne. Something for everyone in the area, restaurants & bars, music, shops, ammusements, soft play, Tropicana swimming pool, hill walking, bike hire, pony trecking, Tollymore & Castlewellan Forest Parks and the Butterfly House at Seaford.
Our house is situated at the 'top of the town' minutes from Main St and the beach and a meer 'putt' away from the Royal Co. Down Golf Course. While it is central it is also off the beaten track on a padestrian walk way with no passing traffic so very safe for children.
Originally a 1970's bungalow now with a roof conversion increasing the number of bedrooms to 4, sleeping max of 8. also providing a second shower room and balcony with views of the Mourne Mts. and amazing sunsets. The back garden is child friendly, fully enclosed with drying green, B-B-Q and garden furniture. Ideal for family holidays, quiet retreat out of season, great for groups of friends hill walking, cycling etc. also we are just beside the Slieve Donard Hotel so ideally situated for wedding guests.
